A Gorgeous Day!

Could you ask for a more gorgeous day?! We planned today to head outdoors since it looks like this weekend we will be inside because of rain.

First, we headed to Walmart to buy some flowers for the pots in our backyard. I told Caleb he could pick the colors we would get. He chose orange and yellow marigolds. We planted them out back; he was actually a great help and I think his color scheme looks great too! Ha!

After planting and JD's nap, we headed out to Kaylee and Cade's house for some afternoon fun! They played safari outside on the swingset. They had backpacks and all kinds of gear. The biggest necessity though to the boys---Cade had to wear Spiderman houseshoes and Caleb wore Cars houseshoes. They looked hilarious walking outside in them. Here they are in the treehouse!

After a struggle to leave because, of course, Caleb did not want to go home, we headed home to cook dinner and get ready for daddy to come home after his baseball game. The boys got their bath and then played in JD's crib while I did some vacuuming. Too bad tomorrow and Sunday are rainstorms all day and night. At least we got to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather today!
